Impressions: Uncharted 3s multiplayer should concentrate on being Uncharted and not Call of Duty

One of the surprises about Uncharted 2 was that the multiplayer was actually good. The combination of small maps as well as being able to scale the maps allowed for a fast-paced multiplayer game that was addictive. Uncharted 3s beta proves that it can be a competent successor, but has it lost its identity in the process?

Minecraft 1.7 Update Guide

Game Rant’s John Jacques writes: “Its been just over a month since the last Minecraft update, an understandable amount of time given how busy Mojang has been with the announcement of Minecraft coming to Xbox 360 with Kinect support and Minecraft coming to the Xperia Play. Despite the busy times in their studio, Mojang have now released the 1.7 update, which fans have frequently thought of as the Adventure Update, though it is now clear that the adventure update will be the 1.8 edition as opposed to the one available for download now.”

Review DiRT 3 | 4News.it

Dirt 3 opens the door to a new kind of “racing”. This third chapter, as well as no doubt appease fans of the historical series, with new introductions, if unable to attract new audiences, less simulation and more, we could say “caciarone”. Dirt third thanks to an excellent longevity, to yield excellent graphics, can be loved and be the best rally title was never seen on consoles and perhaps one of the best racing titles. Surely if the rally had been way more of the title character, fans of old would have appreciated more, but this last chapter is also a new page of the IP that goes to the new face of the title, Ken Block, a character who does Trick of the Drift and his daily bread. For all those who are looking for a racing simulation but also immediate, Dirt 3 will be in the title for them.

Lucha Fury Review – IncGamers

IncGamers: …about as appealing as using a public restroom immediately after John Prescott has emptied his bowels of last nights curry/fajita combo. Whats worse is that, as a reviewer of this game, I was forced to remain in this crap-hole until Id finished. Unsurprisingly, I came out feeling, smelling and looking like sh**.

Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 Review – Midlife Gamer

DangerousBobby says: “If youre not familiar with Magic: The Gathering Dules of the Planeswalkers 2012 (M:TG) allow me to quickly bring you up to speed. You have a deck of cards which you draw from on your turn, including land cards which represent your mana and which you spend to summon creatures and to cast spells. The aim of the game is to reduce your opponent/s life points to zero. These basics as well as that of gameplay are explained to you via an in-game tutorial which, thankfully, isnt mandatory but is robust enough to bring a new player to the point where they can play a game.”

Transformers: Dark of the Moon review (Digital Chumps)

For a video game based on a film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon does well. It’s a good action title that can be enjoyed by adults and kids. It’s simple, easy to use and fun, though it doesn’t stand out in any areas when compared to great action titles. It is worth at least a look.
