The History of Mario’s Power-Ups

Since Marios earliest romps through the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario has always taken advantage of the fantastical power-ups strewn across the land to save the Princess. Nowadays, Mario seems to have a power-up or item for practically any situation but it was not always this way.

Review: Mighty Final Fight – NLife

NLife:
“Mighty Final Fight is a rock-hard, old-school beat-em-up that will only really appeal to those who are up for a gruelling challenge. It may be dated both technically and in terms of gameplay, but theres enough depth to the mechanics for this to still be entertaining today if you approach it with an open mind. We really cant stress enough just how hard this game is; it borders on unfair at times, although thats something that comes hand-in-hand with any true arcade experience. While its limited in terms of length and available game modes, the desire to keep playing it stems not from the amount of content, but rather the difficulty level and the need to overcome it.”

Review: Just Dance 2015 – NLife

NLife:
“Overall, Just Dance 2015 is much like its predecessors, but in the struggle to do something new with the game, Ubisoft has added a lot of features that are not really worth your bother. Luckily these dont interfere with your enjoyment from the very entertaining main game, and as long as youve got some good friends and enough self-confidence, Just Dance 2015 could well give you the licence to be the dancing buffoon you always wanted to be.”

Review: Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut – Nlife

Nlife:
“With its 2D visuals and seemingly flat environments, Lone Survivor might seem like a simplistic take on the horror genre. Ultimately however, it’s under the limitations of this simplicity that the game really shines, leaving just enough to the imagination without seeming too bare. Through the blurred lens of it’s admittedly tired pixelated graphics, environments drip with atmosphere, creatures shamble along menacingly, and the search for answers is always compelling. Though it takes some getting used to, partly due to a baffling map system, the psychological horror of Lone Survivor can extend far beyond the confines of the television screen.”

Ultra Street Fighter IV Wild Costumes Turn Ryu Into A Wolf And Make Cammy A Fox

While Ultra Street Fighter IV on disc contains a huge selection of costumes, Capcom is still making new outfits for characters. The Wild costumes are different from Blankas Hawaiian shirt since they transform characters like Ryu and Gen into fighters that look like they belong in Bloody Roar.

Always playful and usually with a Blanka toy in hand, Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono is quite a character. While he is best known for his work on the Street Fighter series, he has also worked on older titles from the Capcom stable such as Breath of Fire IV, Dino Crisis 2, and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. More recently, he is believed to be working on the PlayStation 4 exclusive Deep Down, which he announced back at the PS4 reveal conference in February 2013.
