Top 3 Reasons why Xbox Live is now becoming more of ‘a worth while buy’
Quietly and quickly Valve ran a ridiculous sale of Team Fortress 2 yesterday for the low low price of $2.49. This sale only lasted a few hours and by the time I heard about the sale there was only about 45 minutes left in the sale. But after the sale Valve released a Halloween styled update for the game.
This new patch contained a time sensitive set of achievements and a limited time only new map. These new achievements will only work from now thru November 2 and can only be locked in the new Harvest. The new Harvest map is a Halloween themed King of Hill Map littered with exploding pumpkins, wandering ghosts and a clue that the rumored tenth class is in fact dead.

Team Fortress 2’s Tenth Class Is Dead
Despite being (mildly) inferior, the PS3 version of Bayonetta has sold over twice the number of copies the (slightly) superior Xbox 360 original has on its opening day?
The PS3 version sold a total of 93,000 copies, whilst the Xbox 360 version sold a mere 45,000, despite scoring a whole two points higher in a suspect Famitsu review.
If even a botched port can manage twice the sales of the supposedly perfect Xbox version it seems Microsoft’s Japanese position may be even worse than previously established?

The internet is in an upheaval over the latest numbers posted by Sony Corp. that revealed a net loss for the quarter ended Sept. 30 of 26.3 billion yen ($287.5 million), compared with a net profit of 20.8 billion yen in the same period last year. If you thought that was bad, according to 15 analysts forecast, it could have been much, much worst; but thanks to the newly redesigned console, and drastic cost cutting measures, things are looking up.

Sony shares rise thanks to PS3 Slim and smaller than expected loss
IGN: Bungie loves to tease us. Countdowns are its forte. Weekly updates with snippets of hints that could mean anything are common. In fact, just today we got another near meaningless hint in the studio’s weekly update. It seems the team has recently gone through a group-wide multiplayer play test. Naturally, nobody is willing to talk about it. Those expecting something new for Halo: Reach’s multiplayer, however, might have reason to get excited.

Pixel Enemy: Over the past 2 years there is a man that has become the talk of the video game industry, and without even mentioning his name you probably know who I’m talking about. If you don’t, here is a clue:
That shit is fire.
Got it now? I thought you might. The HipHopGamer is the industry’s newest "It" guy and the majority of you hate him for it. Well guess what? He’s here to stay so I suggest you get used to it. He’s been called "HipHopGaymer," a "Sony fanboy," a "Clown" and even a "Joke." I’m here to call him a GENIUS. The fact that I am writing an article about this man at all means that he is relevant and I’m ready to explain why.

Why I Respect HipHopGamer
"Kotaku columnist Tim Rogers brings word that store after store in Tokyo is selling out of the Xbox 360 version of Bayonetta. But why?
The Xbox 360 version was awarded a perfect 40/40 score from Japanese game mag, while the PS3 version was not – it received a 38/40. The above picture is from the Yodobashi Camera in West Shinjuku. The tag on the game (??????) means "Sold Out"
Tim says the same sell-outs were visible at other Yodobashi branches as well.
There could be several reasons for this, one of which could be that fewer copies of the Xbox 360 version were ordered by shops unaware that the Xbox 360 Bayonetta was the lead platform. Or maybe lots of people are buying it."
