Sniper Elite III Review | Power on Pub

Sniper Elite 3 focuses on gameplay where you try and do plenty of sneaking around and sniping from far away. While you might think that you’ll have to go in a straight line to deal with each area, there is actually some nice independence in the game and large open maps that allow you to deal with anything based on your personal preference.

Why Destiny Will be the Biggest Disappointment of 2014

Matt Trovalli of Gamers Heroes writes:

Like many others, I was fortunate enough to get into the Destiny beta test last week. I have been hyped on Destiny for a very long time and have followed all of the development but after the public beta. However, I was extremely disappointed. Destiny was not the game of the future like the hype would have suggested. In this case, hype got players hopes way too high. There are a few fundamental issues with Destiny that are too big to fix this late in the development process. Issues so big, they could definitely be a turn off. Heres why I didnt enjoy Destiny.

Elite: Dangerous Preview on Oculus Rift DK2

The Rift Arcade – Where do we begin when describing Elite: Dangerous?

Its just vast. Humongous. Epic. Want an example? How about the fact that the game is set in a 1:1 scale representation of our own Milky Way, with around 100 billion star systems to explore, including our own. Players take on the role of a pilot who can explore the galaxy at will, join factions, become a pirate, a spy, a trader or whoever and whatever they want to be. They start with a ship of their own, but can upgrade or buy new ships, dock and visit space stations; and because the game is one massively multiplayer title theyll see other players going about their business, attack each other and join up for fun. Were only just scratching the surface of what Elite: Dangerous enables players to do, we havent even mentioned the ability to land on planets and walk around on foot (coming in an expansion pack at some point).

Bungie Weekly Update – 08/01/2014

DeeJ:

This week at Bungie, we put the Destiny Beta into millions of players hands.

No easy feat. You all kicked mountains of ass. While you battled aliens and each other, we learned a lot about how things work behind the scenes. We discovered even more by watching you fight and win and die and revive.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Listed For PC On Amazon Spain

DSOGaming writes: “Amazon.es has listed Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the PC. Still, and despite the fact that Amazon has leaked a number of games in the past (and since its pretty obvious that this Halo compilation will drive Xbox Ones sales), we strongly suggest taking it with a grain of salt.”

Lack Of Fallout 4 News Is Making People Crazy

Skyrim Fansite writes: “Misleading articles regarding Fallout 4 news are circulating on the Web.

Like QuakeCon before it, this years E3 convention has come and gone with still no word from Bethesda regarding Fallout 4. This lack of news is starting to make people crazy. No, not crazy like the petition started earlier this year on Change.org demanding that Bethesda announce Fallout 4. But crazy like the latest Fallout 4 rumor being written up as legitimate news, announcing to the world that the much anticipated game has finally been confirmed by Bethesda.”
